 FRANK HERBERT (1920 - 1986) - Amerykanin, jeden z najsłynniejszych twórców literatury science-fiction. Stworzony przez niego cykl "Diuna", kontynuowany później przez jego syna, stał się kamieniem węgielnym literatury SF, kilkakrotnie został przeniesiony na ekrat i do świata gier komputerowych.
